YES Landscape Consultants were instrumental in gaining planning permission for construction of an anaerobic digester at the Selborne Brickworks site in Hampshire. A detailed landscape design for the access track of the brickworks was required by the local authority for the “interests of visual amenity”, as the site was soon to receive a higher frequency of industrial traffic.
At YES, we decided on the use of native species to blend with the current hedgerows and mature trees, as well as the use of Salix (willow) around the clay pits where the soil is waterlogged throughout the year.
